Job title: Prototype Technician
Location: Swindon, UK (site based)
This is a day shift role.
The purpose of the Prototype Technician is to facilitate the delivery of Fuel Cell and Electrolyser Prototype Samples to Hydrogen Technologies Customers and the TestFacility. Supporting the prospect of securing new customer projects and developing new products through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. This role reports to the Head of Prototyping.

The role:
As a Prototype Technician, you will help drive our goals by:
Champion all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements, ensuring every task is completed safely and in full
compliance with JM standards.
Perform daily activities to ensure all orders and trial schedules are met while maintaining appropriate consumable stock levels.
Fabricate prototype samples in accordance with standard processes and technical specifications.
Follow material and metal control (SAP/MES) procedures through the prototyping process to ensure compliance with JM
standards.
Prepare required materials, tooling, and documentation (Trial Plans and Drawings).
Operate prototyping equipment. Inc. Cutting Equipment, Hot Presses, XYZ Robots and Visual CMMs.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role :
Experience with handling materials and operating equipment
Proficient in the use of SAP and MES
Experience in interpreting assembly drawings and technical plans
Strong communication skills to deliver results
