Join our multi-award-winning Farnham in Bloom team and play a vital role in shaping Farnham’s response to climate change and the enhancement of local biodiversity.
You’ll work hands-on with a passionate team of volunteers, local schools, community groups, and the Council’s outdoor workforce to create a more vibrant and sustainable town.
Role: Community Enhancement & Projects Officer
Based in Farnham, Surrey

* Highly motivated, energetic and confident
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
* A strong organiser with a flexible and positive outlook
* Experienced in horticulture and working with volunteers and contractors
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Environment Working Group with key initiatives including Green Flag, Farnham in Bloom, biodiversity, and climate change
* Maintain and develop partnerships with local authorities and voluntary organisations
* Develop and deliver new projects and secure sponsorship/external funding
* Implement plans aligned with the Council’s environmental and community objectives
