Community Partners is working with an Acute NHS Trust in the East Midlands / East of England region to appoint an experienced Interim Chief Pharmacist for an initial 3-6 month assignment.
This is a critical senior leadership position within the organisation, providing professional and operational oversight of pharmacy services during a period of transition and ongoing service demand.
The Trust is seeking an accomplished hospital pharmacy leader who can bring immediate grip, credibility, and assurance across medicines governance, clinical services, and workforce leadership.
The Role
As Interim Chief Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:
1. Providing strategic and operational leadership across all pharmacy services
2. Acting as the Trust’s lead professional for medicines optimisation, safety, and governance
3. Ensuring delivery of high-quality clinical pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings
