We are now seeking an ambitious Operations Manager for our Belfast site - someone who brings energy, leadership, and a passion for operational excellence. What You'll Be Doing In this pivotal role, you will: Lead, coach, and motivate a multi-disciplinary team to achieve and exceed branch KPIs. Use data-driven insights to boost performance, streamline processes, and enhance accuracy and service levels. Play a hands-on part in day-to-day warehouse operations, including picking, loading, unloading, and stock control. Oversee all goods in/out, ensuring smooth workflow, customer satisfaction, and a well-managed site. Maintain stock accuracy, rotation, and quality standards with precision. Take responsibility for all health & safety standards across the site, ensuring a safe working environment for all. Oversee transport and logistics operations, including driver and vehicle compliance. Monitor and report on branch performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Who We're Looking For We want someone who brings more than experience - we want the right attitude, drive, and ambition. You should have: Proven experience in operations or warehouse management, ideally within a merchant or trade environment. Strong leadership skills and the ability to get the best from your team. Excellent communication and customer service capability. Knowledge of ironmongery products (advantageous but not essential). Forklift licence and experience (preferred).
