Senior Civil Engineer – Contract
Infrastructure & Drainage | Residential & Mixed-Use
An established engineering design consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Contract) to support a strong and ongoing pipeline of residential and mixed-use development projects across the UK.
This is a hands-on design role, suited to an experienced civil engineer who can take schemes from feasibility through to detailed design and technical approvals.
The Role
* Lead delivery of civil infrastructure and drainage design for residential and mixed-use developments
* Produce and review detailed designs for highways, drainage, levels and earthworks
* Prepare drawings, calculations and supporting information for S38, S104 and S278 approvals
* Coordinate with local authorities, statutory undertakers and internal project teams
* Provide technical input and guidance across multiple live schemes
* Manage workload independently while supporting wider project delivery
About You
We would be interested in reviewing CVs for candidates with:
* A strong UK engineering consultancy background
* Circa 8 years plus experience, primarily within residential and mixed-use development
* Proven experience delivering infrastructure and drainage schemes through S38, S104 and S278 approvals
* Solid understanding of UK standards, adoption processes and local authority requirements
* Confidence working autonomously in a contract environment
