Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our client, working within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role involves hands-on production work, quality checking, and working with paint products to meet customer specifications.
Your Role as a Production Operative
* Working in a chemical manufacturing setting
* Quality checking finished products to ensure customer standards are met
* Colour matching and tinting paints (solvent & water-based, solid and metallic shades)
* Applying paint using spray equipment
* Loading and unloading machinery
* Physical lifting required - weights up to 16kg / 25kg
* Supporting general production duties as required
Requirements
* Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment desirable
* Ability to carry out physical tasks including regular lifting
* Good attention to detail, especially for colour matching
* Willingness to learn tinting and spraying techniques
* Reliable, hardworking and able to follow instructions
* Positive team-focused attitude
