Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Ashby de la Zouch

This role based in Ashby de la Zouch offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting a leading logistics client. The role offers a 12 week temp to perm contract with the opportunity to go permanent after.

Key Responsibilities:
6. Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move stock within the warehouse
7. Efficiently pick and pack orders accurately to client specifications
8. Load and unload delivery vehicles while maintaining stock organisation
9. Conduct daily forklift checks and report any maintenance issues promptly
10. Assist with stock rotation and quality inspections to ensure product integrity
11. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
12. Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to meet and exceed operational targets
Requirements:
13. Valid counterbalance forklift licence
14. Previous warehouse or logistics experience, ideally with picking and packing
15. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
16. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
17. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings or afternoons
18. Commitment to health and safety best practices
