An opportunity has arisen in our Bettys Finance Team and we are looking for a Management Accountant to join us at our Bettys Bakery site where we support all areas of Bettys including Branches, Cookery School, Craft Bakery and Support functions. As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for the production and consolidation of monthly management accounts following input from Finance Business Partners and Assistant Management Accountants, then production of the monthly management pack supported by Business Partners. You will own and influence the level of balance sheet provisions and make key decisions influencing profitability, complete and develop balance sheet reconciliations for several key balance sheet codes, produce and hold accurate and complete VAT data and records and hold the audit process for Bettys ensuring that materials to support half year and year end balances have been rigorously tested beforehand. About you - We are looking for the following experience and knowledge: Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent). Experience with business compliance work; ie Audit, Corporation Tax, VAT, PSA. Excellent numerical reasoning. Ability to analyse large amounts of data and information. Advanced Excel skills and experience of IFS Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively to solve problems and overcome difficulties. Excellent communicator and presentation skills.
