Job Title: Sales Coordinator
Location: Stourbridge
Reports To: Head of Sales & Estimating
As the Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for aiding and assisting the team to ensure the Sales Department runs smoothly. You will also collaborate with the Estimating Department on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
1. Answering incoming phone calls
2. Monitoring the Sales & Information email inboxes
3. Downloading data from tender enquiries, entering the job onto the enquiry register and creating job folders in the company IT system
4. Running credit checks
5. Completing and submitting PQQ (pre-qualification questionnaire) Documents
6. Keeping Estimators' workload schedules and enquiries registers updated
7. Setting up tender returns and assisting the Sales & Estimating teams with them (staff CVs, method statements, policies, sending info internally, saving all internal info, updating internal documents to assist in the tender run, etc.)
8. Submitting tender returns on clients' portals for the Estimators
9. Converting quotes into project files when an order is received and enter onto the contract register
10. Add relevant forms and documents to contract folders
11. Assisting with NDA's to ensure they are issued to the legal department for checking and comments
12. Booking hotels when requested via the company portal
13. Onboarding new suppliers and customers
14. Uploading all required documents, photos, drawings, etc.
15. General administrative requests from the Sales & Estimating department
Essential Skills
16. Excellent customer service skills
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
18. Ability to work independently as well as using own initiative
19. IT literate
20. Ability to multitask
21. Have a can-do, hands-on attitude
Desirable Skills
22. Knowledge of Microsoft Project or other construction programme generating software
23. Knowledge of the Fire Protection or Fire Detection Industry
24. Previous experience of Building Information Modelling (BIM) or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
25. Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
