Primary School in WA4 Seeking Full-time HLTA – January Start
Teaching Personnel are working with support a primary school located in the WA4 area, who are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team from January 2026. This position is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to further develop their skills within a nurturing and community-focused school.
Role Overview:
* Start date: January 2026
* Part-time hours, with the possibility of progressing to full-time later in the academic year.
* Providing short-term classroom cover during teacher PPA or absence, ensuring high-quality learning continues seamlessly.
* Working within Key Stage 2, supporting pupils across Years 4–6.
* Collaborating with class teachers to identify learning needs and deliver tailored support, including small-group sessions and one-to-one interventions in core subjects.
What We’re Looking For:
* A relevant Teaching Assistant or HLTA qualification, or substantial experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary setting.
* Strong understanding of effective classroom practice and behaviour support strategies.
* A calm, resilient and proactive approach when supporting pupils with varying needs.
* A genuine commitment to helping children make progress academically and socially.
* Safeguarding training (completed during registration with Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
