As Social Media Channel Manager at Sanderson Design Group, you will lead strategy and execution of social media across our portfolio of 6 interiors brands. With a focus on leveraging both paid and organic tactics to drive engagement, brand equity, and conversion, the role spans direct-to-consumer and trade-focused brands, emphasizing performance marketing and digital innovation.

You will be responsible for creating and executing channel strategies, managing influencer and affiliate programmes, and owning community engagement. Working closely with brand, digital trading, performance marketing, and customer teams, you'll ensure our social presence supports commercial goals and brand storytelling. You will manage a small team and collaborate with internal and external partners to evolve our approach in a fast-changing social landscape, positioning our brands as leaders in the luxury interiors industry.

Responsibilities

* Drive growth, engagement, and conversion through owned social channels, supporting D2C and trade objectives.
* Lead and evolve social media strategy for all brands across organic and paid channels, aligned with brand and commercial goals.
* Develop platform-specific strategies for Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, tailoring content to each platform's format and audience.
* Manage a content calendar supporting new collections, campaigns, and peak trading periods.
* Ensure consistent brand storytelling while maximizing cross-brand and cross-platform opportunities.
* Maximize synergy between organic and paid efforts.

Influencer & Affiliate Marketing

* Lead influencer strategy, managing relationships, briefs, contracts, and performance, balancing long-term advocates with performance-driven partnerships.
* Ensure content quality and alignment with brand values and objectives.
* Oversee affiliate marketing activities, onboarding creators, managing content, and reporting ROI.
* Achieve reach, engagement, and conversion targets through organic and performance collaborations.
* Define KPIs for audience growth, engagement, social traffic, sample requests, and ecommerce revenue.
* Produce regular performance reports with insights and optimization recommendations.
* Use data to refine content, testing formats, and campaign planning.
* Partner with digital trading, CRM, and media teams for integrated tracking.

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Manage a small team, supporting prioritization, training, and development.
* Collaborate with digital trading, CRM, customer service, and brand marketing teams for an integrated customer experience.
* Liaise with agencies and external partners for aligned messaging and reporting.

Innovation, Trends & Industry Awareness

* Stay informed on emerging trends, platform updates, and industry benchmarks, especially in interiors and lifestyle sectors.
* Test and adopt new content formats across platforms.
* Share learnings and foster a test-and-learn culture within teams.

Community Management & Engagement

* Develop a proactive community management strategy to foster relationships and loyalty.
* Oversee engagement, respond to queries, react to UGC, and escalate issues.
* Identify and nurture brand advocates and micro-communities.
* Partner with Customer Service for timely, brand-aligned responses.

Content & Campaign Execution

* Collaborate with content, styling, and design teams to ensure product launches and campaigns are social-first.
* Align content formats with campaign goals, from awareness to conversion.
* Ensure presentations include strong calls-to-action for sample requests, sales, and referrals.

Measures of Success

* Growth across social channels and audiences.
* Increased traffic, sample requests, and sales via social channels.
* ROI from influencer and affiliate partnerships.
* Timely campaign and launch support.
* Insight-led planning and collaboration.
* Integration of organic and paid strategies with marketing goals.

Skills & Experience

* Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
* 5-10 years managing social for luxury or lifestyle brands, D2C and trade.
* Strong knowledge of organic and paid strategies on key platforms.
* Proven success in community engagement, conversion, and advocacy.
* Experience managing influencer and affiliate relationships with measurable outcomes.
* Proficient in analytics tools.
* Commercial mindset with data-driven decision skills.
* Excellent communication, creative briefing, project management, and copywriting skills.
