Samlesbury Hall is currently recruiting for an effective Casual Part Time Duty Manager.

About the role:
Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
· Managing the staff team and venue during functions and events.
· Taking card and cash payments using our EPOS till system.
· Ensure compliance with all statutory and company regulations relating to Health & Safety, licensing, conduct of employees, fire emergency procedures, security of premises and property.
· Excellent time management skills and be able to multi-task during busy periods.
· Correct and accurate cashing-up at the end of a shift, in accordance with company policy and procedures.
· Be able to communicate effectively with all members of staff and management and paying close attention to detail.
· Assisting guests, creating positive experiences.
About you:
The ideal candidate will:
· Be able to work well on a busy bar (previous experience is essential).
· Possess excellent time management skills and be able to multi-task during busy periods.
· Be able to communicate effectively with all members of staff and management, paying close attention to detail.
· Have experience of working during functions and events, maintaining a professional attitude should a difficult situation arise.
· Have knowledge of licensing and Health & Safety laws/ regulations.
· Have experience of managing a staff team.
· Have at least 2 years of experience working in the Hospitality industry.
· Have experience of cash handling and be familiar with cashing up procedures.

Shift patterns are weekend availability, working until the early hours, i.e., 1am-3am shift finish. However you may occasionally be required to work during the week also.
Rate of pay: £15.00 per hour.
Please note, due to the rural location of the Hall, a full, valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
