Artemis Human Capital is excited to present this newly created position within a well-established and growing NI-based company, recognized as a sector leader. We are seeking a Junior Assistant Management Accountant. Are you a recent finance graduate or an early-career finance professional eager to develop your management accounting skills? Do you have some experience in accounts and a strong desire to advance your career within a high-performing finance team? This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and supportive industry environment.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assisting with month-end close procedures
2. Managing company credit card reconciliations and postings
3. Handling petty cash transactions and reconciliations
4. Processing employee expense claims
5. Supporting inter-company account recharges
6. Preparing financial reports for stakeholders
7. Assisting with VAT & Intrastat returns and filings
8. Participating in business improvement initiatives
9. Supporting the external audit process
10. Gaining experience in Accounts Payable, Invoicing, & Accounts Receivable
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Over 1 year of experience in an accounts department or relevant internship/work placement
2. Working towards AAT or equivalent qualification
3. Strong teamwork skills with excellent attention to detail
4. Good IT & Excel skills with confident communication
5. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently
6. Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow
