What the Job Involves As the Interim Head of Waste & Green Spaces, you will manage the Waste, Street Cleansing, and Green Spaces Services. Your role involves leading a dedicated team towards achieving service plans and performance targets. You will be responsible for operational management, service delivery, and strategic development. You will ensure compliance with health and safety, financial management, and legislation, alongside promoting community engagement and partnerships. You will also manage budgets effectively to deliver savings and improvements. Your role extends to communication with residents and stakeholders, attending meetings to maintain and promote service quality, and deputising for the Director of Environment when needed.
