What you'll be doing... Generating new business through proactive outreach, networking, and market development to drive conference and event sales.
Responding to incoming enquiries and converting them into confirmed bookings.
Delivering compelling venue tours and sales presentations that showcase the Wetland Centre's unique offer.
Building and nurturing strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, local businesses, and community partners.
Representing the venue at industry events and networking opportunities to increase market visibility.
Managing your CRM pipeline, ensuring accurate reporting and effective follow-up activity.
Working closely with operations and catering teams to ensure seamless delivery of all confirmed events while meeting revenue targets.

What you can bring... Proven experience in venue, events, hospitality, or hotel sales, with the ability to convert opportunities into results.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, paired with excellent written and verbal communication.
Confidence in presenting to a range of clients and stakeholders.
A proactive, self-driven approach with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
Experience effectively managing a sales pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records.
A friendly, confident, and positive communication style that builds trust.
High levels of organisation, attention to detail, and a creative mindset for developing new business opportunities.
