Package Description:
Associate Director of Operations
Lead with Purpose. Deliver with Impact.
Are you a bold, strategic leader who’s ready to shape the future of social care? Do you have the commercial experience and drive to lead sustainable services – and the heart to make a difference?
We’re looking for two Associate Directors of Operations who can do both.
* Role one: Cornwall, Devon, Wiltshire, Bristol, and South Gloucestershire
* Role two: Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, and London
The ability to travel in area and across all of Brandon is essential.
Why we think you’ll love this role
You’ll lead large-scale operations, drive growth, and champion inclusive, high-quality support for people with learning disabilities. Working at the intersection of strategy and delivery, you’ll influence change while keeping people at the heart of every decision. This is your chance to shape services that truly make a difference, inspire high-performing teams, and lead with purpose in a bold, values-led organisation.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead a region of diverse services, guiding your teams to deliver brilliant support and strong commercial results. You’ll set the tone, shape the strategy, and drive performance across everything from operations and quality to growth and innovation.
This is a role for someone who leads with integrity, thinks commercially, and is committed to co-producing solutions and developments with the people we support.
Lead with impact
* Deliver safe, high-quality, and financially sustainable services.
* Bring clarity and energy to your region, aligning with our values and long-term goals.
Drive performance and growth
* Use data to boost outcomes, eliminate waste, and improve experience.
* Lead budgets, planning, and workforce efficiency – with people and performance in perfect balance.
Shape partnerships and reputation
* Build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and sector partners.
* Represent Brandon with pride, bringing your unique perspective and experiences to help shape our inclusive future and spot opportunities for growth and innovation.
Inspire inclusive, high-performing teams
* Lead through people – developing talent, championing inclusion, and building a culture of excellence.
* Support career pathways and colleague development to unlock potential at every level.
Embed excellence
* Lead on quality, risk, compliance, and safeguarding.
* Deliver continuous improvement and service innovation to stay ahead of the curve.
What you’ll bring
Leadership that delivers
* Experience leading multi-site or large-scale services in care, health, or other regulated sectors.
* A track record of delivering both service quality and commercial performance.
Inclusive and inspirational leadership
* You lead with empathy, clarity, and ambition – and your team trusts you.
* You care about equity, and you create spaces where everyone can thrive.
Commercial confidence
* Skilled in planning, financial management, and spotting opportunities.
* Comfortable leading tenders, managing contracts, and driving sustainable growth.
A passion for people and purpose
* You’re driven by making a difference – and you bring heart, resilience, and creativity to the challenge.
* You understand the barriers people from underrepresented backgrounds face and want to change that.
About us
At Brandon Trust, we support people with learning disabilities and autism to live life in the way they choose. We’re here to champion independence, dignity, and inclusion – and we’re proud to be part of that journey.
As one of our Associate Directors of Operations, you’ll be right at the heart of that mission – helping shape the future of social care, one team, one service, one person at a time.
Apply by 4th June – but don’t wait too long, we may close early if there’s high interest.
We value diversity and welcome applications from all backgrounds. We actively encourage applications from people of ethnically diverse communities, as well as those underrepresented in leadership roles due to disability, gender, LGBTQ+ identity, or socioeconomic background. If you need any adjustments to the process, we’ll be happy to support you.
