You will join our IFP R&D team to lead lifecycle management fibre deployment across EMEA, supporting our fibre strategy, sustainability goals and business continuity. You’ll partner closely with R&D Technology, Manufacturing and Procurement, and lead the DtV way of working to drive structure, pace and value delivery across the region. This role suits a commercially minded leader with deep pulp and fibre expertise, strong process and product experience, and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders in a fast-paced FMCG environment. In this role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: *Signature Programs:* * Support and/or lead key “signature” programmes deployed across multiple sites in the UK and EMEA, ensuring consistent technical direction, disciplined execution, and effective cross-site learning transfer. *Fibre:* * Coordinate and drive EMEA LCM fibre deployment in support of the fibre strategy (owned within the R&D Technology organisation), including new fibre qualifications, mill trials, spot pulp opportunities and contingency planning to protect supply and business continuity * Partner with the R&D Technology team, mills and Procurement to translate strategy into executable site plans (scope, timing, trial plans, technical packages, change control and risk management) and ensure disciplined implementation * Lead senior stakeholder alignment and updates on fibre deployment across EMEA (progress, risks, key decisions and trade-offs), escalating effectively and enabling timely decisions * Act as the product expert in the local manufacturing and business teams, provide support as needed to maintain or improve our product quality and compliance * Be a key R&D partner for fibre activities linked to the Suzano JV, helping shape and execute the fibre deployment agenda where fibre availability and sustainability are critical objectives *DtV (Design to Value):* * Own the DtV process, governance and cadence across the UK and EMEA (pipeline visibility, standard work, prioritisation, stage gates and reporting) to enable LCMs and site teams to deliver results * Plan and facilitate DtV workshops end-to-end (pre-work, data packs, ideation, technical feasibility alignment) and ensure tangible outputs. * Run the UK&EMEA DtV governance rhythm (forums, dashboards and decision logs) and provide clear stakeholder updates on pipeline health, delivery confidence, risks and decisions—ensuring roles and accountabilities are explicit across LCMs, mills and functions To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: * Bachelor Degree in a major scientific or engineering discipline and broad knowledge of the production and/or product development processes. * 5-7 years of professional experience in product development/ tissue manufacturing & converting processes. * In depth advanced knowledge and expertise of pulp and fibre science · English fluency * Team working skills to effectively collaborate in a multi-functional environment. * Project leadership skills and a problem solving mindset * Competent with data handling and working with systems, and experience with statistical analysis Travel: Up to 25% travel across the UK and EMEA, with the potential for higher travel in the first 3–6 months to build capability, learn mill processes and assets, and develop your cross-functional network. *Led by Purpose.
