Bedford Borough Council is looking for a Benefit Assessment Officer to join our busy team.
Qualifications and responsibilities:
* Experience of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support Legislation.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
* Strong communication skills with internal teams, customers and Landlords.
* Willingness to be available to work in the office at Borough Hall for training as required.
* Hybrid working arrangement under review, and some scope for working from home.
