Overview
As a vehicle technician you will perform key tasks and activities within your area of responsibility, focusing on technical service, diagnostics, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical and diagnostic service ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met and exceeded.
* Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and ensure compliance with manufacturer training.
* Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards.
* Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes.
Qualifications and Skills
* Formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) or equivalent as a minimum.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Experience of inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles.
* MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial.
* Excellent verbal and written English skills.
* Previous experience in a franchised dealership (preferred but not essential).
Contract and Earnings
This position is offered on a full-time contract of 46.33 hours per week, paying up to £33,600 with an OTE of £42,000. Our average Vehicle Technician earnings were £42,000 last year, with higher performing technicians earning on average £58,000.
