Teacher of Computer Science – Preston, Lancashire
Vision for Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Preston, Lancashire to appoint a passionate Teacher of Computer Science for a long-term temporary role starting in September 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department within a well-established school environment.
The school was rated ‘Good’ at its most recent Ofsted inspection and is recognised for its strong leadership, supportive staff culture and positive learning environment.
The successful Teacher of Computer Science will be expected to deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their knowledge and enthusiasm for technology and computing.
Requirements
* QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
* A passion for education and supporting young people.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
This role in Preston, Lancashire is available on a full‑time basis starting September 2026 and offers the opportunity to become part of a successful and supportive school community.
