We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Projects to lead the successful delivery of projects from point of sale through to completion within a fast paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence, strong client relationships, and high-quality delivery standards across all projects. The successful candidate will manage a small team of Project Managers/Coordinators while acting as the central link between sales, operations, clients, and delivery teams. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance strategic oversight with day-to-day project execution. Key Responsibilities Oversee all projects from handover after sale through to final delivery and completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions. Manage project priorities and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects. Maintain clear visibility of project pipelines, statuses, and delivery milestones. Lead, mentor, and support a small team of Project Managers and Coordinators. Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning. Act as a senior point of contact for clients throughout project delivery. Build strong working relationships with internal departments including Sales, Finance, and Operations. Ensure smooth project handovers from the sales team into delivery. Manage client expectations and ensure excellent customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. The Ideal Candidate Proven experience in a senior project management or project delivery leadership role. Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously from sale to completion. Strong people management experience, ideally managing small teams. Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills. Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and project profitability. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems.
