Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, including experience in Residential Care. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care for residents, particularly those with dementia and Alzheimer's. As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all care plans are effectively implemented and that the highest standards of care are maintained.

Responsibilities

* Manage the overall operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in senior care.
* Supervise and support staff members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and respect.
* Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring safety and adherence to prescribed protocols.
* Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
* Lead staff training sessions on best practices in dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and other relevant topics.
* Ensure that the home is a safe, welcoming environment for all residents.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a management role within assisted living or care home settings.
* Background in residential care, minimum Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification.
* Strong understanding of dementia and Alzheimer's care principles.
* Experience in developing and implementing effective care plans.
* Excellent leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively.
* Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff members.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing daily operations.
