We are excited to announce a rewarding opportunity within the Procurement Department of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for the role of Supply Chain Assistant within the Materials Management Team. Responsibilities for this role include the precise and punctual procurement of Medical and Non-Medical supplies for the wards and departments at BRI and St. Lukes Hospital, and maintaining ward inventory levels in alignment with predefined standards to fulfil user requirements. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training.
Responsibilities
* Procure Medical and Non-Medical supplies for wards and departments at BRI and St. Luke\s Hospital with precision and timeliness.
* Maintain ward inventory levels in line with predefined standards to fulfil user requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong command of the English language.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with computerised stock ordering systems such as Oracle, NHS Supply Chain (LOL/EDC), or equivalent platforms.
* Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to work independently and within a team.
* Effective communication with colleagues at various organisational levels.
