Bookings Coordinator
Location: Woodland & Glendon Wood Hospital – Rothwell Grange
Hours: 37.5 per week, Full-Time
Summary:
Exciting opportunities have arisen for a Bookings Coordinator to join our successful and dedicated Hospital Administration Team team based at Rothwell Grange. Woodland and Glendon Wood Hospitals provide services for both NHS and Private patients.
The Woodland hospital in Kettering has four theatres operating 6 days a week, covering a diverse range of elective services including Orthopaedic, Spinal, Pain, General surgery, Weight loss Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology, ENT and Ophthalmology. We have a 23 bedded inpatient ward and 19 Day case Rooms / Bays. We also have a pharmacy and radiology services at the hospital.
Glendon Wood Hospital works closely with Woodland Hospital with staff moving across both sites in support of activities. Glendon Wood Hospital has 2 laminar flow theatres and a designated endoscopy suite as well as outpatients, physiotherapy unit and a full imaging suite including CT, MRI and mammography.

As a Bookings co-ordinator you will need to be data literate and able to manage and prioritise your workload.
High-level duties include:
* Inpatient Bookings
* Self-Pay, Insured and NHS Patients
* Patient telephone and email enquiries
* Patient Waiting Lists and RTT patient pathways
* Effective Theatre List Management
* Internal Funding Requests (IFR)
* Daily reports / KPI's
What you will bring with you:
* Proven track record of achieving targets whilst maintaining an outstanding level of customer service
* The ability to work under pressure whilst remaining patient / consumer focused
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient computer skills to include Excel and Word
