About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technologically oriented Graduate Design Engineer to join our team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a soon to/recent graduate to kick start their career and gain experience at the forefront of innovation. The ideal candidate will have a good foundation of mechanical/electrical principles and a strong desire to learn and contribute to real-world projects. As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, build and validate concepts to contribute to the future of Dyson’s product range.

About you

You will be contributing to the delivery of the next generation of Dyson technology, so you will need to be:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or related fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Product Design.

Basic understanding of both mechanical and electrical principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Keen attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to get hands-on including prototyping and testing.

Experience with CAD software such as Siemens NX/SolidWorks or similar.

A self-starter with the ability to bring own ideas to life.

Ability to learn and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Above all, you will want to have an integral part in bringing the next generation of Dyson technology to the world.
