You will join a company with a proven track record of developing, promoting, and retaining talent.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the development of datacentre controls solutions, including software programming for our leading data centre products.
* Supporting on-site deployment of these systems and contributing to successful deployment and type testing.
* Assisting with new controls developments as the company expands into new markets.
* Completing server builds and managing graphics at physical and virtual layers.
* Assisting commissioning engineers with type testing of BMS systems and related tasks.
* Engaging with clients and stakeholders for maintenance in mission-critical environments.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, including controls setup and network configurations.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware solutions, primarily with Trend and Tridium BMS Systems.
* Escalating unresolved issues to internal teams.
* Preparing accurate reports.
* Leading testing of BladeRoom systems.
* Ensuring facilities operate according to design parameters and are ready for handover.
* Coordinating daily commissioning activities with subcontractors and clients.
* Completing QA/testing documentation and managing handover documentation.
* Representing the company professionally and problem-solving effectively.
* Resolving network issues and configuring operating systems.
Qualifications and experience required:
* Relevant technical qualification (degree level) or equivalent experience.
* At least two years of industry experience.
* Understanding of mission-critical facilities and their systems.
* Experience with systems testing and troubleshooting, especially mechanical, electrical, and BMS systems.
