ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Managing Director - Services to join a small Biotech dedicated to developing innovative solutions that address real-world challenges and improve health outcomes globally. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, entrepreneurial leader to take the helm of our client’s well-established Services division, driving growth and operational excellence.
As part of this senior leadership role, you will have full P&L responsibility and will play a critical role in shaping the future of the division, expanding existing services while developing new offerings aligned with long-term business goals. This position offers autonomy, influence, and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic, science-led organisation.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Managing Director - Services will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
* Lead and execute the strategic vision for the Services division to deliver sustainable growth and operational excellence.
* Grow and develop core service offerings such as contract research, product testing, and related activities.
* Identify and develop innovative, scalable service solutions to expand market reach and value.
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers and partners to ensure high-quality service delivery and long-term collaboration.
* As the Managing Director, you will oversee the full financial performance of the division, including P&L, pricing strategies, and resource planning.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Managing Director - Services we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
* A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Science, Business, or Management).
* Proven experience leading a services, consultancy, or commercial unit within a technically complex or regulated environment.
* Demonstrable success in owning commercial outcomes, scaling teams, and building profitable, growth-oriented service portfolios.
