Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Highworth, Swindon.
Permanent position
Upto £43,300 d.o.e
Weekly rotating early and late shifts (6-2 and 2-10)

Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and improvements on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
* Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
* Maintain accurate daily records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with reporting systems and CMMS / SHIRE
* Continuously seek ways to reduce breakdowns and improve processes through WCM methodologies
* Assist operators with maintenance activities and support their understanding of machine functions
About the successful Maintenance Engineer
* Proven experience within a manufacturing environment
* 18th Edition electrical certification with a solid understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations
* Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical fitting, ELV control circuits, PLC I/O logic, and basic plumbing.
* Ability to effectively read and interpret Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulic/Pneumatic drawings and fault-find.
