Description Your new career starts here As a key member of our Building Services Team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our community safe, ensuring building compliance across the shire, and maintaining the quality of our built environment. In this role, you’ll: Conduct inspections and lead enforcement activities in line with the Building Act Engage and educate the public, builders, and property owners on compliance matters Mentor colleagues and support emergency response efforts Be a go-to source of knowledge for internal stakeholders, working closely with our Municipal Building Surveyor (MBS) This is your chance to work in a values-driven council with a strong team culture and a deep commitment to public safety and wellbeing. What you will bring to the role You’re a technically strong Building Surveyor who combines expert knowledge with a calm, consultative approach. You know how to work with people, not just regulations—and you take pride in doing work that matters.
