As Account Manager, your role will be to secure business, maintain strong client relationships and to maximise revenues and profitability within your customer accounts. You will be responsible for managing projects following the client's brief and delivering them on time, and to the highest standards. You will develop strong relationships with the client and be able to identify their needs, exceeding expectations whilst seeking out opportunities to grow the account.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of your accounts.
* Creating clear briefs which are followed by all parties to ensure projects are delivered on time, to expectation and within the required margin.
* Building the business level up through strong customer service skills, attention to detail and following each project closely whilst developing strong connections with the clients at all levels.
* Maximising revenue and profitability of your accounts.
* Ensuring any quotation issued is within the company's approval procedure and margin policies.
* Ensuring that sales administration and record keeping is completed for the accounts you are responsible for.
* Ensuring invoices and credit notes reflect the contract and resolving invoice queries.
* Managing risks and reporting major risks to the business unit Director.
* Proactively engage with clients with a strong focus on working on high profile projects, new builds and rollouts.
* Ensuring project profitability alongside the Project Manager.
* Forecasting sales and project updates on a monthly basis.
Skills and Experience
* You will need to have 3 - 5 years as an account manager, project manager or sales representative in the product development.
* 3+ years' experience working with global brands preferred.
* Knowledge of retail display production and installation rollouts for large retail brand stores.
* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
* Ideally you have a BA/BS degree or equivalent knowledge.
* Relationship building skills.
* Proven experience of growing customer accounts.
