These form the Amcare™ Group making us one of the largest dispensing appliance contractors in the UK. Job Summary An essential position is the new Amcare IT team. This role is central to the support and development of key systems for Amcare and the post holder will be responsible to working closely with IT leadership, Business leads and development teams in both the US and the UK. Communication, organization and documentation are key skills required. The post holder will work with various stakeholders on the capturing of requirements suitable for software development and ensuring business processes are aligned to new systems and efficient practice. The ability to pick up IT systems such CRM, ERP and PRS is essential as the post holder will be responsible for testing development and feeding back issues to development teams. Key areas of support will be (but not restricted to): • Project Management • Business Development • Requirements Gathering/Documenting • Systems testing • Software Development Support • Business systems support • Jira updates • Software Lifecycle Management (Dev/Staging/Prod) • Change Control Duties and Responsibilities • Monitor and trouble shoot incoming Production Support tickets • Gather and document business requirements • Coordinate with the Developer Managers for resource and Sprint assignment on all tickets/projects • Communicate with end user to set expectations for completion of tickets/projects • Complete QA for both Production Support and Project tickets • Coordinate and oversee business testing of tickets • Develop and manage project plans • Ensure projects are completed on time and to specification • Facilitate both project and update meetings with clear deliverables/actions Behaviours and attitudes: • Demonstrates the ConvaTec values and behaviours (Improve Care, Deliver Results, Grow Together, own It, Do What’s Right) • Ability to operate effectively, alone or as part of a wider team • Conscientious and flexible approach to work • Passion for technology and continuously development • High personal accountability • High degree of integrity • Passion to “make a difference” to the lives of the people we touch • Excellent customer focus • Confident, driven, and self-motivated Skills and knowledge: • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Strong communication and relationship skills • Ability to support multiple projects concurrently • Solid knowledge of software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies • Experience with Jira • Excellent attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. • Excellent stakeholder relations and interpersonal skills
