Overview
Bank Receptionist – Boston West Hospital – Bank Hours. We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our team on a Bank contract. You will deliver exceptional standards of administration and customer service while being the front face of the hospital. This is a busy role liaising with patients, Consultants and all hospital departments. We require a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative, the ability to work within a team and adaptability. You must be computer literate with experience in Word and Outlook.
Where you’ll be based
Boston West Hospital is a purpose-built day case hospital providing services for assessment, diagnosis and treatment of common medical conditions. A well-equipped modern theatre undertakes a range of surgical procedures and endoscopic investigations.
Treatments at the hospital include:
* Endoscopy
* Colonoscopy
* Hernia Surgery
* Knee Arthroscopy
* Shoulder Arthroscopy
* Cataract Surgery
* Cystoscopy
* Hand surgery
* Foot surgery
* Minor Urology treatments
* Minor gynaecological treatments
* Vasectomy
* Varicose vein surgery
* Minor skin procedures
What you will bring with you
* Experience in a front facing or customer service role
* Maths/English to GCSE level or equivalent
* Proven organisational and communication skills at all levels, both written and oral
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including databases
* Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and consultants on a day to day basis applying appropriate methods and interpersonal skills
* Positive, willing attitude
* Self-motivated and possess strong organisational, interpersonal and above all customer service skills
