How you’ll change it up
This is a new role within the team, giving you the opportunity use your knowledge and experience to drive results and leave a long-lasting positive impact on the UKs digital infrastructure.
You’ll lead CityFibre’s relationship with BDUK across your allocated contracts, managing the key contract deliverables relating to design, build performance, take up and risks. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:
* Managing the pipeline of change control opportunities that align to us achieving the business plan and target returns
* Acting as the expert on BDUK contracts, fully understanding their terms and obligations
* Developing opportunities for further rural expansion and subsidy award
* Managing all key BDUK and senior Local Authority stakeholders, providing reporting on project highlights and construction issues throughout the build lifecycle
* Effectively managing, escalating, and resolvingkey issues and conflicts
What you’ll bring to the role
You’ll already have experience in an Account, Programme or Contract Manager role, ideally with experience in government contracts. You’ll also bring the following with you:
* A strong strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities or manage commercial risk
* A broad skillset across sales, relationship development, business planning, negotiation and financial sensitivity
