We are seeking a pro-active and organised HR professional to join our team as an HR Case Manager for our branches in Exeter, Dunstable, Heathrow, and Shepperton.
Role details
* Pay: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus car allowance
* Hours: 40 hours per week
* Location: Hybrid remote field and home working
* Interview process: Week commencing 15 September, panel interview and a competency-based case study assessment

The role
As a Regional HR Case Manager, you will be the trusted advisor for all employee relations matters across your operational region, working closely with managers to resolve a wide range of employee relations matters. You will manage a diverse caseload including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management cases, ensuring they are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with employment law and company policy.
Your responsibilities include:
* Supporting investigations and advising Hearing Chairs
* Ensuring cases are appropriately escalated
* Managing Occupational Health referrals and overseeing accurate HR system records
* Reviewing and improving HR policies and processes to remain robust and compliant
* Building confidence and capability of managers to handle challenging people issues
* Identifying training needs and providing practical guidance to resolve disputes and mitigate risks
* Participating in wider HR projects, including TUPE, reorganisations, and change initiatives
About you
This role requires a confident and knowledgeable HR professional with proven experience in managing employee relations cases, including grievance, disciplinary, absence, and performance management. You should have a strong grasp of employment law and the ability to translate legislation into practical advice balancing compliance with commercial outcomes.
To succeed, you will need excellent communication skills, the ability to quickly build trust, and the confidence to influence and challenge managers when needed. You should bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage a varied caseload with high accuracy and consistency. You will be comfortable working independently and as part of a wider HR team, with a willingness to travel within your region.
