Internal Key Account Manager
The Role: The Internal Key Account Manager will have a national customer base remit and their core role is to develop close relationships with our client's existing spending client base and effectively grow those customer revenue's annually through upselling, cross selling, excellent customer service, and increasing wallet share over their multiple operating sites. The Key Account Manager Manager will be selling a vast array of products & services associated with the health and safety & identification market within B2B end users across all sectors, with a focus on: food & bev, oil & gas, utilities, pharma, energy, chemical, and steel processing etc.
The role is internally based from their brand new offices in Banbury, Oxfordshire, and is joining a team which includes customer success, quotations, marketing, HR, and other core business functions. This is a growth position to support the existing infrastructure and the career opportunities within this business are vast.
With this being an internally based role you will be in the office Monday to Friday, 9-5. The role will see you executing a multi-channel sales cadence involving the phone, email, social media etc. You will be driving your own new business from the existing account base and in time will be supported by a more new business focused colleague who will be providing new accounts to manage.

They have recently streamlined their offering to the customer which has bred further opportunity to grow the team - hence the Internal Key Account Manager position.
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
7. Have a B2B internal sales background in either new business or account management
8. Understand sales process, structure, and are aware of consultative selling methodologies
9. Are comfortable with multi-channel outreach and high activity
10. Organised, methodical, and strategic in approach
11. Comfortable with a full-time, internal, sales position in the office
12. A confident team player who wants to earn
Salary: Up to £35k Basic salary DOE + £6k OTE year 1 + pension + 23 days holiday (rises with length of service)
