Offshore Field Engineer – Job Summary Location: Near Sandhurst

Travel: Required – approx. 120 offshore days/year - Field duty paid
Training/Certifications Required: Offshore survival, regular medicals
Role Purpose Deliver high-quality technical support for our full product range, both onshore and offshore. Represent the company with a safety-first mindset, ensuring product reliability, customer satisfaction, and proactive identification of service or sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, service, and repair systems on vessels, rigs, shipyards, and customer sites worldwide.
Ensure compliance with internal and client-specific HSE policies, including use of PPE and safety documentation.
Provide real-time job updates to clients and document activity via CRM and service reports.
Support customers and internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Regional) via phone or digital systems.
Participate in after-hours technical support on a rotational basis ("Support Phone" duty).
Identify potential new service needs or commercial leads through client interaction.
Requirements
Offshore and confined-space work experience.
Valid offshore survival certification and medical clearance.
Skilled in fault diagnosis, test equipment use, and basic electronics (RS232/RS485).
Strong communication, customer engagement, and technical documentation abilities.
Comfortable with CRM tools and digital reporting systems.
Qualifications Essential:
Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
Desirable:
Mechanical/hydraulic systems knowledge
Acoustic systems familiarity
