A multi-billion international single-family office of prominenttech entrepreneurs, based in London, is seeking a dynamic and highlyexperienced Finance Director to lead its finance and treasuryoperations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record ininvestment reporting, FP&A, and treasury, along with extensiveexperience across both traditional and alternative asset classes.
This is a senior leadership role offering theopportunity to work within a lean, professional team managing asubstantial global multi-asset portfolio - including private equityand venture capital funds, hedge funds, public equities, fixed income,and direct investments. The ideal candidate will bring a strategicmindset, operational excellence, and a hands-on approach, deliveringstrong results both independently and by effectively leveragingexternal partners.
Responsibilities:
* Leading the finance and treasury function,including process development, optimisation, and automation.
* Preparing regular investment reports for a multi-assetportfolio, including private equity fund investments, ETFs, activemanagers, hedge funds, fixed income, and derivatives.
* Designing and maintaining other financial reports to ensuretimely and accurate information for decision-making.
* Managingfinancial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, includingforecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
* Analyzing historical and projected costs across the familyoffice, identifying issues and opportunities, and advising managementaccordingly.
* Leading relationships with banks, overseeingtreasury operations, and ensuring optimal liquidity management.
* Supervising and being directly involved in the preparationand execution of payments related to both the investment portfolio andfamily office operations.
* Coordinating with tax and legaladvisors to ensure effective risk management and compliance acrossjurisdictions.
* Acting as a key liaison to the UBOs, externaladvisers, and financial institutions, while managing sensitiveinformation with discretion and professionalism.
Requirements:
* Deep knowledge ofaccounting principles, IFRS fundamentals, complex financialinstruments, and valuation methodologies.
* Extensiveexperience in preparing investment reports for portfolios that includeboth public and private investments.
* Proven leadershipskills, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate independentlyin a fast-paced environment.
* High level of integrity,discretion, and strong communication skills.
* Minimum of fiveyears’ experience in similar roles within investment management firms,family offices, or investment banks.
* University degree infinance, accounting, economics, or a related technical discipline.
* Advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial modellingcapabilities.
* Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA orequivalent).
