Overview

As an Early Years Practitioner sessional tutor, you will be required to teach all qualifications under the umbrella of Early Years including the Support Work in Schools L2 Award, Certificate and Diploma and L3 Award, Certificate and Diploma. We are also looking to deliver Health & Social Care and counselling accredited pathways. You will provide engaging teaching, learning and assessment with a creative and supportive approach to teaching. Adapting to a range of learning styles, and ability to differentiate delivery to learners with mixed abilities to develop learners' knowledge and understanding, while ensuring the highest possible quality of teaching and learning to a group of learners.


Responsibilities

* Deliver and assess qualifications across Early Years including L2 and L3 Awards, Certificates and Diplomas.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative learning, schemes of work and lesson plans.
* Use a range of initial assessment and diagnostic tools to inform teaching.
* Adapt delivery to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
* Maintain current CPD evidence and apply best practices in teaching and assessment.


Qualifications

* Teaching qualification (PCGE, CertEd, DET or equivalent).
* Assessor qualification (TAQA or equivalent).
* Early years subject specialism at Level 4 (e.g., Level 4 Childcare, Learning and Development or equivalent).


Experience and Skills

* Current working practice evidence of CPD.
* Experience in design and implementation of learning, schemes of work and lesson plans.
* Experience with a range of initial assessment and diagnostic tools.
* Strong working knowledge of OFSTED Education Inspection Framework.
* Strong teamwork ethic with the ability to collaborate and support colleagues.
* Passion for adult education and making a difference.

Additional Information

We are looking to recruit staff to join our sessional pool. The number of working hours per day and/or term will depend on the requirements of the business. This is not a full time, permanent role.
