We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Flagger / Groundworker to join a local authority’s repairs and maintenance team based in Bury. This role involves working on both void and occupied domestic properties. We’re looking for a Flagger experienced in repairs and maintenance on domestic properties. You will be covering works to flagging, concrete paving, drainage and general groundworks and this is a stable, full-time role ideal for someone with social housing or council experience. Duties Include: Carry out flagging and concrete paving repairs to domestic properties (voids and occupied) Undertake groundwork duties including drainage repairs, reinstatements and small excavations Prepare and level ground surfaces ahead of flagging and paving installation Mix and lay concrete, cement, and other groundwork materials as required Identify and diagnose issues with existing paving or drainage and complete appropriate remedial works This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £21.43 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £18.39 inclusive of holiday). You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime. An immediate start is available.
