The Role & Benefits This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join an established and supportive engineering team on a permanent, day-shift basis. You’ll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, working across a wide range of machinery in a busy manufacturing environment. Monday–Friday day shift (9am - 6pm) Overtime opportunities available Pension (3% employer / 5% employee) 20 days holiday Bank Holidays 2x life assurance Ongoing training and development Opportunities to get involved in engineering projects and site improvements Key Responsibilities Carry out reactive breakdown repairs to minimise downtime Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults on production machinery and plant equipment Support production teams with machinery setups and adjustments Maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and mechanical systems Assist with machinery installations and continuous improvement projects Skills & Experience Level 3 NVQ / BTEC / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing or production environments Strong fault-finding skills on industrial machinery Experience working with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical systems Full Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available) If you’re a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a business that invests in both its people and technology, apply today.
