Lead Generator (Part-Time, 20 hours per week)

The Role:
As the first point of contact for schools, you’ll play a key role in sparking curiosity and enthusiasm about our expeditions. Your mission will be to connect with teachers and school leaders, introduce them to our work, and arrange inspiring meetings with our regional sales team.
You'll also reconnect with previous clients and identify new opportunities—helping schools take the first step towards an unforgettable student experience.
This is a flexible, part-time role, and we’ll support you to structure your hours in a way that works for you. However, please note our peak calling hours are between 08:00–09:00 and 14:45–16:00, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively reach out to schools via phone and email to generate interest.
* Book quality appointments for our regional sales team each week.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with school staff.
* Collaborate with the wider sales team to ensure smooth handovers and effective teamwork.
* Keep our CRM up to date with all communications, and help manage the sales team’s diary.
* Assist with launch preparations for school events.
* Support communication with parents during the launch phase to ensure full student team applications, working closely with the Regional Sales Manager.
* Report on performance and targets.
* Participate in our operations room and crisis management system during the summer expedition season — this may include occasional evening and weekend shifts.
Experience Required:
* Proven telesales experience, with a strong record of meeting targets.
* Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel).
* Experience in outdoor education or the secondary school sector is desirable, but not essential.

* Prospective customers – qualifying leads and booking meetings.
* Regional Sales Managers – supporting with outreach, meeting scheduling, and launch admin.
* Product, Planning, and Programme teams – providing customer feedback and staying informed about our offerings.

* Competitive salary of £12,500 base (pro-rata for 20 hours), OTE £16,500
