Location: Allander Surgery, 191 Denmark Street, Glasgow, G22 5SS
Hours: Part time around 25 hours a week (hours and days worked negotiable)
Salary: Depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chronic disease management, cervical screening, and general practice nursing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality care for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and hypertension.
2. Perform cervical cytology screening in line with national guidelines.
3. Deliver general nursing duties including health promotion and contraception reviews.
4. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care.
5. Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to practice protocols and policies.
Essential Requirements
6. Registered Nurse (NMC registration).
7. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
9. Experience in chronic disease management and cervical screening.
10. Confidence in managing results on docman
