What You'll Do
As an Audit Manager Not for Profit based in Kent, you will be entrusted with managing a broad range of audit assignments for charitable organisations and other entities dedicated to social good.

* Manage a portfolio of audit clients within the not-for-profit sector, ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
* Oversee the preparation of accounts and corporation tax computations/returns for limited companies associated with not-for-profit organisations.
* Provide practical guidance on regulatory matters including tax and VAT regulations, requirements of UK law, and principles of good governance relevant to charitable entities.
* Foster enduring client relationships by being responsive to their needs and delivering thoughtful solutions tailored to each organisation's mission.
* Support workflow planning across your team's portfolios, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
* Coach and mentor junior members of the team, sharing your knowledge generously to help them develop their technical skills and confidence.
* Deliver revenue and profitability targets by maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services.
* Collaborate closely with local partners on ad hoc duties as required, contributing positively to the wider success of the office.
* Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) while staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards affecting not-for-profit organisations.

What You Bring
To excel as an Audit Manager Not for Profit in Kent, you will bring proven experience in managing audits for charitable organisations or similar entities.

* Demonstrated working knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) or UKGAAP (UK Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), enabling you to navigate complex reporting requirements confidently.
* ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualified status is essential for this position, reflecting your commitment to professional excellence.
* Proven experience auditing clients across a variety of industries with particular emphasis on not-for-profit organisations or charities.
* Track record of coaching and mentoring junior team members in a considerate manner that encourages growth and learning.
