Job description Design & Technology Teacher – Full Time Location: Northamptonshire Start Date: September School Type: Secondary Schools Teaching Personnel are proud to partner with secondary schools across Northamptonshire looking to recruit passionate and qualified Design & Technology Teacher to join their highly successful departments from September The Role: As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will inspire and engage students through dynamic, creative lessons across a range of DT specialisms. You will contribute to the continued success of the department, supporting students to develop practical skills and a love for design and technology, as well as honing in on the theoretical side of DT. What we’re looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with excellent school-based references. Recent experience teaching Design & Technology in UK secondary schools is highly preferred. Subject specialism experience, ideally in areas such as Food Technology, Product Design, or similar. Strong behaviour management skills and excellent organisational abilities. Experience working with students with special educational needs is advantageous, with a clear understanding of how to adapt lessons to suit individual needs.
