Located in Rowberrow, on the edge of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Swan is a 17th-century Grade II-listed pub and inn, full of history and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
It serves as a haven for locals, walkers, cyclists, and visitors, with five boutique bedrooms above the pub and four dog-friendly rooms in converted barns (one accessible), making it an ideal rural retreat, family getaway, or staycation spot.
We are passionate about great food and drink, offering seasonal local produce, pub classics, fresh flatbread pizzas, and award-winning Butcombe beer on tap.
In warmer months, our large beer garden is perfect for al fresco dining or enjoying sunshine with a few pints.
Located just 7 miles from Bristol Airport and 15 miles from Bristol Temple Meads station, The Swan is a perfect base for exploring Bristol, Somerset, and the Mendips, with attractions like Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury Tor, and Ashton Gate Stadium nearby.
