CFM is a contract furniture manufacturer employing 80 people across three sites in Pontefract and Castleford. We specialise in creating high-quality furniture for the care home sector, helping our clients design exceptional interiors.

This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday. Flexibility with working hours is required, as some shifts may start as early as 6am when working onsite as part of the placement team. Therefore, you must be able to commute to Pontefract for these early starts.
You will not be onsite every day and will also need to work in the factory. When based in the factory for despatching, the hours are 8am to 4.30pm. Additionally, there may be some nights out required, for which we will provide hotel accommodation and a meal allowance.
Responsibilities
Onsite Placement Duties
* Unloading goods and carrying them into the site (must be physically fit as some items can weigh up to 25kg).
* Scanning goods into the correct location/room onsite.
* Assist with various tasks at different sites.
* Stay overnight on occasion (hotel expenses and a meal allowance will be covered).
* Flexibility with working hours is essential due to the distance to most sites. Start times could be as early as 6am, with return times around 5-6 pm.
* CSCS card Required
* This role includes shared responsibility for driving company vehicle to transport staff to and from work sites. Driving duties will be rotated among team members. In line with our company insurance policy applicants must be aged 25 or over to be eligible for this aspect of the role.
Despatch Department Duties
* Loading and unloading vehicles (must be physically fit as some items can weigh up to 25kg).
* Wrapping items with care to ensure safe transport.
* Checking all items against paperwork to ensure accuracy.
* Conducting quality checks on items before loading to ensure they are not damaged.
* Working hours at our factory despatching are 8 am to 4.30pm, Monday – Friday
Requirements
* Valid CSCS card
