Are you an experienced and passionate primary teacher looking for a rewarding role in the new year? Reed Education is working with a welcoming primary school in the WF9 area of Wakefield to recruit a dedicated teacher for a unique and fulfilling position starting January 2026.
The Role
This is a varied and engaging role that offers both classroom teaching and leadership opportunities:
* Afternoons: You will cover a Year 6 class of 20 pupils. This is a small but complex group with emotional and social challenges, so we are looking for someone with strong classroom management skills and a nurturing approach.
* Mornings: A mix of leadership time, PPA cover, and support across Years 3-6, giving you the chance to work collaboratively with staff and make a real impact across the school.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience in KS2, ideally with Year 6
* Strong behaviour management and ability to build positive relationships
* Resilience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting pupils’ emotional and social development
