Behaviour Mentor - Primary SchoolDo you have experience or looking to gain experience supporting children with behavioural needs?Are you wanting a role where you can support children who struggle with daily life at school and want to be a constructive mentor and create a positive impact?If yes, a primary school in Redbridge, London are looking for an individual that is keen to make a real difference to children by providing guidance and a positive outlook to their learning and everyday life. This is a full time role starting in September or October 2025.This role would suit and be an ideal position for either a Psychology/ Education graduate who is seeking first hand experience before pursuing a career as either a teacher, therapist, counsellor, educational psychologist, youth mentor or even work within the prison service.This Behaviour Mentor role would also suit and experienced mentor or those with experience working as a TA/ LSA with ASD, SEMH or challenging behaviour as well as someone who has experience mentoring young children or young adults in another capacity.As a Behaviour Mentor at this primary school in Redbridge, London you will be working alongside pupils across the school who have behavioural needs, ASD, ADHD or SEMH. This could also be working with children who simply struggle with schooling and are having a negative impact on their own or others learning.
You will provide support in their everyday routine, keeping them engaged and motivated to learning in the classroom and becoming the best versions of themselves both in and outside of school.You will be a positive influence on these children, giving them the floor to talk to you and express themselves.
