The Role: Senior Credit Risk Analyst, Credit Systems (Contract Type: Permanent/ Full Time)
Location: Bradford, Petersfield or London

The Role
As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst - Credit Systems, you will shape and deliver robust credit decisioning across the full customer lifecycle. You’ll lead the design, testing and implementation of decisioning strategies that support responsible lending and business growth. You’ll collaborate with IT, Credit and Data teams to ensure system changes are well-governed, analytically sound, and aligned with regulatory standards, making a real impact on risk management and customer service.

Together, you’ll build scalable, data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making and governance/compliance.
As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will:
* Lead the design, development, and testing of credit decisioning strategies and system changes across the customer lifecycle.
* Collaborate with IT, data and credit teams to define and document business requirements, ensuring accurate implementation and traceability.
* Develop and execute test plans to validate decision logic, system functionality and data integrity in line with governance and regulatory standards.
* Monitor and investigate credit performance trends, providing actionable insights for risk management and strategic decision-making.
* Deliver clear MI and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Excel, tailored to stakeholder needs.
* Define and support data infrastructure requirements to enable scalable reporting and analytics.
* Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across Credit, Product and Technology teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and workflows, promoting a DevOps culture and governance frameworks.
* Mentor junior analysts and support knowledge sharing to build team capability.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum of 3 years' experience with data, reporting, or analytics within a Credit Risk or related function.
* Experience in credit decisioning systems, data validation, or testing environments.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across teams.
* Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
* Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation and validation in credit risk or decisioning environments is highly desirable.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
