Contract type: Permanent / Part time, term time only, 39 weeks per year
Contract hours: 10 per week, Monday to Friday 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Salary range: £7,484 to £8,114 per annum
About The Role
We are looking to appoint a Site Assistant who will primarily be responsible for the locking up of the school site daily during term time. Other duties include supporting at Malmesbury Park Primary as required.
Responsibilities
* Lock up the school site each day during term time.
* Ensure pupils, staff and visitors have a safe and secure site.
* Provide occasional support at Malmesbury Park Primary.
Qualifications and Experience
* Team working and building relationships based on mutual respect.
* Relevant experience of working in a similar role.
* Ability to work independently and use own initiative when required.
* Effective communication skills with both children and adults.
* Eager to work collaboratively in a wider team, adaptable and open to new ideas and practices.
* Ensure safe working practices and safeguarding practices are upheld.
* Able to deal with change and unpredictability positively with a “can do” attitude.
* Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths.
